Effects on items and plants
Storage humidity conditions are an important factor in determining the quality of items. Different items have different humidity requirements. Too low humidity or too high humidity will cause certain damage to the items.
High humidity can cause items to become moldy, deteriorate, or even rot in severe cases; low humidity can also cause damage to items, fragile items such as coatings, plastics, and electronics may lose elasticity or crack due to lack of water.

The storage humidity of electronic products is 40%-60%. Too low humidity will cause problems such as circuit boards and capacitor dew points.
The storage humidity of wooden products is 10%-12%. Too low humidity can easily cause the wood to crack.
Static electricity is a very common phenomenon. In air with different humidity, the conductivity will be affected. When it is relatively humid, there are a large number of tiny water droplets floating in the air, which can transfer part of the charge; but when the humidity is low and the climate is relatively dry, the charge can easily accumulate. Static electricity is an ignition source that can provide sparks. When it comes into contact with flammable and explosive items, explosions and fires can easily occur.

Plants have a certain purifying effect on the air and can adjust the temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment, thereby relaxing the body and making people feel comfortable. Therefore, plants are also very common in many people's homes.
While the growth of plants affects the environment, it is also affected by the environment.
A dry environment is not conducive to the growth of plants. In an environment lacking humidity, the photosynthesis of plants will be reduced, and the stomata cannot open normally, thereby inhibiting the formation of chlorophyll, causing the plants to appear withered and yellow; it will also cause the growth of the plants to decline, causing new roots to break and affecting the survival rate of the plant. Dry environments around plants are also prone to attracting sucking pests such as spider mites.
