I've only had this for 2 weeks, so far so good. This thing is not like any Humidifier you've ever had, it's on a level by itself. I raise reptiles and have been through a dozen ultrasonic models but this steam changes everything. I have dropped the thermostat in my house from 69 to 64. Keep in mind this is bigger than a 5 gallon bucket, so you do need some space. I combined a new customer discount and black friday deal to steal this bad boy for $200 and some change. Shipping did take 2 weeks with no communication from seller.

I’ve been using this evaporative humidifier for a month, and I feel satisfied so far. The eco-friendly design is a plus—no filters to replace, which saves money and reduces waste. Cleaning is quite easy, only needing to be done every few months. There are 2 big buckets so that on a single fill, it runs for a day, even though my home is 2600 sq ft big. It’s efficient, and eco friendly, would recommend!

I Will Never Buy a Cold Water Ultrasonic Humidifier Again! I have bought a lot of ultrasonic humidifiers,all sizes. But this one isn't even playing the same ball game as the rest. Good bye bleach and pink scum. It does not happen in this unit.
Two removable water tanks with solid handles which you fill and return, or you could fill with a pitcher if you choose. Access is the lid on top and very roomy for drying and rinsing out. It is light enough that I can rinse at the sink with the sprayer.
I live in a very dry climate and the air is obscenely brutal from the complete lack of humidity indoors. I don't live in the biggest house. 1250 sq feet across two levels, it takes a while to get the first floor humidified. Once humidity is reached it is easy to manage with the controls provided. It is not required to run all day, just off and on seems adequate on lowest setting.
There is absolutely NO odor! The unit practically auto sterilizes itself. This was a massive boon for me. Cleaning is simple and effective. There is a timer for auto shut off. There is a child lock lid feature. There is not a remote, I do not care in the least. I tend to it one time a day, it could go to the next in some areas possibly.
