The humidifier will auto shut off and show "1111" when out of water, so don’t worry about burning it dry.
What do the buttons on my YO-M2 humidifier do?
The top of the YO-M2 has a main panel with 5 buttons on it.
From left to right they are: Timer, Mist, Power, Auto Humidify, and Safety Lock.
The Timer button can be used to set the run time of the humidification. Press the button to cycle to the next duration level.
Level 1: 1 hour
Level 2: 2 hours
Level 3: 4 hours
For each button, you can press to cycle through different levels or settings.
The Mist button can be used to adjust the humidity emitted by the YO-M2. Press the button to cycle to the next intensity level.
Level 1: Low Mist
Level 2: Medium Mist
Level 3: High Mist
The Power button can be used to turn the humidifier on and off. When it detects that there is no water in the humidifier, it will automatically shut down.
The Auto Humidify button can be used to adjust the humidity emitted by the YO-M2. Press the button to cycle to the next humidification level.
Level 1: 50%
Level 2: 60%
Level 3: 70%
The Safety Lock button can be used to lock the humidifier. Press and hold the safety lock button until the indicator light turns red.
Press and hold the safety lock button again to unlock.

Why does the humidifier display show "1111" and what does it mean?
The humidifier displays “1111” when the water running out or at low water level. Please try to resolve it by following steps:
1.Unplug the power cord first.
2.Refill water and insert the water tank.
3. Plug in the power cord again.
4.Press the power button to see if the humidifier can turn on normally.
The humidifier keeps showing Lo%, what does this mean?
Codes displayed on the display:
Lo%: Indoor humidity is lower than 30%
Hi%: Indoor humidity is higher than 80%
1111: The machine is short of water
There is brown substance on the heating plate, what should I do?
Caring for the heater plateIn case of scale, please clean it with a soft sponge dipped with neutral detergent, rinse and wipe dry. Otherwise, the scale will stick on the heater, resulting in machine fault. If the water inlet is blocked by scale, the machine will not work properly.
If it is difficult to remove the scale, citric acid can be used by the following method:
① Fill in enough water to cover the heater, and boil the water by directly pressing the power button with the upper lid open.
② Add 20-30 g of citric acid after the water boils.
③ Turn off the power and leave it for about 2 hours.
④ Pour out boiled water, scrub with sponge, and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. If the heater is not thoroughly flushed, a peculiar smell may be emitted during humidification.
Why does the humidity display on the humidifier differ from the humidity display on the room thermometer?
Normally, there will be the display deviation between external hygrometer and the built-in hygrometer of machine.
The built-in humidity sensor of the humidifier is located at the bottom of the machine, while the steam disperses outward and upward. By the time the steam settles to the bottom, part of it has already evaporated. As a result, the humidity detected by the machine may be lower than that measured by an external hygrometer. In such cases, please refer to the humidity level indicated by the external hygrometer.
Why is there black substance on the heating plate of the humidifier, and why has the water turned black?
this is the peeling of the protective layer of the heater plate. The heater plate will initially have a protective coating, and the coating may slowly peel off after multiple use. This will not affect the use and humidification effect.
How should I clean my YO-M2?
It is suggested to clean the humidifier with citric acid regularly. Here is the cleaning steps for your reference:
1. Add 20g of citric acid to the heater plate.
2. Add water to cover the scale.
3. Turn on the machine and heat for 10-15 minutes, and then turn off the machine and let it stand for 20-30 minutes.
4. Pour out the original water, and rinse the heater plate again with clean water, then pour it out, and wipe the inside of the body to sure no any remaining scale. (Note: When pouring water during the cleaning process, avoid the direction of the front display screen and buttons).
What should I do if the machine is leaking water?

I set the humidity to automatic, but the machine still works after reaching the set humidity. The humidity is too high, how can I control it?
When set auto-humidity of 50%, it will automatically adjust mist level to reach and maintain the pre-set humidity level. The working principle of the steam humidifier as follow: When you choose 50% humidity, the humidifier will run in high mist level first, when the humidity reach 50%, it will run in low level to maintain the pre-set 50% humidity. So the humidifier keeps running and generates warm mist continuously.
If you feel the humidity is too high, it is suggested to use the low level setting or timer setting, or turn off the machine when it reaches the desired humidity. After turning off the machine, the indoor humidity can still be maintained for a period of time.
Why is my humidifier cover corroded and damaged?
For the damage of the lid, we initially thought that it is caused by the water quality or occasional PC hydrolysis phenomenon.

My humidifier won't turn on after using it for a while. How can I solve this problem?

1. Please check if the power cord is detached from the socket or the machine connector.
2. Please try a different socket.
3. Have you tried cleaning the scale with citric acid? It may be that somewhere is blocked by scale, causing the machine to fail to start.

My humidifier makes a boiling sound. Is this normal?
The sound is the sound produced when the bubbles created in the water collapse when it boils. Since the product humidifies by boiling water, it will make intermittent noise during operation, but this is normal and you can use it with confidence.

Why isn't the humidifier producing steam?
The water may not have boiled yet. Boiling typically takes around 10 minutes. Alternatively, depending on the room temperature, humidity, lighting, and background color, the steam may be difficult to see.
Why might there be rust-like spots or rough material attached to the humidifier heater?
There may be film-like substances floating in hot water, or rust-like spots (scale) or rough substances adhering to the inner surface of the inner container. These are caused by the components of the water (minerals, metal ions, etc.) rather than discoloration or corrosion of the inner container itself. It may cause the humidifier to make a louder boiling sound or produce an odor, so please clean it regularly (every 1 to 2 months) with citric acid.
