I own 5 humidifiers. This is my favorite! it quietly steams water to help humidify the house. Has two pull out bins to add water. Although you can use "any" water it will work better with distilled as many of us (my home included) have lime and solids in our water. Which will absolutely show up eventually and you will have to clean the unit. But do not fear! It's pretty easy to clean and you'll be back in business. Recommended.

I was very pleased with this humidifier with the level of water vapour in the air dramatically reducing the dryness on the house. Unfortunately, our unit stopped working properly after a few months. Before complaining to Amazon, I reached out to the manufacturer who responded with some of the best customer support I've ever experienced. After analyzing the issue, they decided to ship us a brand new replacement. All in all, a product...and a company...I would highly recommend.

Works great and easy to take apart

Very happy with this clean steam humidifer. It works great and we are happy. After about two weeks of usage, I love this humidifer even more. As the weather got warmer (40-50 degrees instead of (20-30 degrees) it works even better to get nice humidity in our 1,100 sq. ft condo to the level we want near 40. We have a separate device to measure. I love that we only fill it once a day. We used to boil water on our gas range all day long. My son told me that gas fumes were bad for you. So we bought the unit. Love it.

Great Humidifier for dry air
It is a great addition to my home, especially during the dry seasons. The large water tank is a game-changer—I don't need to refill water frequently, which is super convenient with my busy schedule. The steam output is consistent and noticeably improves the air quality, making my home feel more comfortable overall.
I’ve also noticed a big difference in my skin and sinuses—no more waking up with a dry throat or itchy skin. I'm also impressed with the maintenance of this humidifier, as it boils the water and release the steam, and there's no need to replace filters, which prevents mold or dirt from building up. I don’t have to worry about constantly buying replacements. Cleaning it is straightforward, and I love that it uses thermal evaporation to keep the steam clean and hygienic.
The machine makes some noise while boiling water, but it’s not too disruptive since I’ve placed it in a corner. It still provides excellent humidification.

WELL WORTH THE PRICE. beautiful design. EAASY to use water buckets.... they are modular in design so you can take 1 out while the other one is still working..
quiet with a small watery gurgle... only gets a bit louder if you fill up buckets with extremely cold water, since it has to work harder to heat it up... when you can hear it, It sounds like a water fixture you would buy to have some small running water sound in the back of your house. actually pleasant , much more than the Evaporator air humidifier by honeywell (the large vertical ones you fill up).
all in all... GREAT JAPANESE DESIGN. Thank you this company (forgot your name).... for putting this on the market. could not find any other competing product yet that has this amount of water capacity.

I have a 1200 sq/ft home and this machine brings the humidity up from about 12% to 35% on low. It will need to be refilled at least once per day (on low). More on higher settings. I tried it on med and the windows on my main floor fogged up and it smelled "steamy" in the house.

Food grade citric acid works great to clean it; and you should clean it. Once a week for sure. It's easy to clean.

This is without doubt the most effective humidifier that I have ever owned. Steam humidity is the best way to achieve even high humidities. It is extremely well engineered. It is very easy to fill. Output is 10L in 10 hours on high. We are able to maintain 60% humidity in the winter in Michigan (with dry heat for the house) in a 500 sq. Ft. Master bedroom. It does require cleaning about once a week to stay at maximum effectiveness. Access to the boiling pot is good and therefor is easy to clean. I would buy another if and when I need to.

We just set it up tonight and we've never been able to get even our ROOM above 40% - with this bad boy our whole CONDO is at 50% and higher! The mist is super fine and doesn't impact our air purifier and the air feels significantly better than with other models we've used. If we have no issues, this is the best humidifier we've purchased!

YO 10L Steam Whole House Humidifier

Went back to see how much it was, to get a second for upstairs (this took well over a month to arrive, so it was a debate). Turns out they no longer stock them.
Sad. Just figuring it out. Hope it comes back in stock. It’s lovely. We have the care pod as well, but still there’s a second floor with bedrooms and an office that have dry air.
